Insurance and Policies: Services

INSURANCE

I am an in network providers for Anthem MediCal, United Healthcare, Optum and Victim Witness.

There may be a co-pay for these services.

I am an Out-of-Network provider for most other insurance providers and will provide you with invoices ("super bills") that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

Before we begin services, I recommend that you contact your insurance provider to obtain more details about your coverage.

Some questions you may want to ask include:

  • Whether or not Telehealth is covered by your plan;

  • Whether or not you’ve met your deductible;

  • What your coverage is for out-of-network providers; and

  • How many sessions of psychotherapy your insurance will cover.

PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION POLICIES

Payment is due within 48 hours of when the service is rendered. Cash, check or credit cards are accepted for in-person sessions and credit or debit cards for video/telephone/messaging sessions.

I utilize a secure, HIPAA compliant platform (Stripe) with which to take your payment.

If you need to cancel your session for any reason a standard 24 hour notice is required. If 24 hour notice is not given you will be responsible for the full session fee. Insurance does not cover cancellations.
